Dollywood Splash Country River Rush

Construction Progress at the new Dollywood River Rush boardwalk and water attraction. The Boardwalk was constructed on timber piles embedded 6′-0″ – 12′-0″ into the existing grade and on a Redi-Rock MSE retaining wall near the entry to the ride.  The boardwalk is nearly 600 linear feet long and will support the entry and exit to the new water attraction.  The water attraction can be viewed on Dollywood’s Website Here.

This temporary sheet piling is already 15′-0″ into the ground and currently stands more than 50 feet in the air.  The piling will be driven completely into the ground to serve as a temporary cofferdam for a new concrete structure that will be part of an underground coal handling system.  CSA was responsible for the design of the sheet piling, ring beams, and wall supports for this project.   The structure is being built in Pasadena, TX by Continental Construction.

CSA was proud to support the runners of the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon in conjunction with the East Tennessee AIA.  Several volunteers showed up to support the runners and we handed out water and Gatorade to several thousand people on this beautiful Sunday morning.

Here are photos for the construction of the Pi Beta Phi House at the University of Tennessee.  The house is getting close to being complete, and the girls will be moving into the new house in the fall.



IBEW Training Facility

Here are some construction photos of the IBEW training facility being built off of Interstate 75 near Western Avenue.  The pre-engineered metal building shell has been erected and light gauge exterior framing will start next week.






 Very Well Done W.W.F Mesh in IBEW Slab. Chairs, Vapor Retarder, & Laps have all been installed according to the drawings.
