Toof Building Construction Update

Thursday, July 24, 2014

These photos show construction progress of the Renovation of the Toof Building in downtown Memphis. The 6 story building was constructed in the early 1900’s and was home to a printing shop. The existing building is composed of 24 to 36″ diameter concrete columns with large capitals supporting a two way concrete slab. The building will house roughly 11 condo units per floor minus the basement which will act as storage space for the units. The building is adjacent to the Memphis Redbirds baseball complex and will have a roof deck overlooking the field. Several of the units have large windows looking out over the field as well.
